College Preparatory Math (CPM) is a far cry from the way most of us, including myself, learned math as we were going through school. However, after having been trained in the implementation of CPM, and having read the research on the methods, I am convinced it is the best way for students to achieve at a high level.
The issue for many parents is that they struggle with how to help their students succeed, simply because they are not sure what their student is working on or how they can assist them. College Preparatory Math (CPM) has made many resources available to parents and students to help them navigate through the courses. Below you find links to many of them. You can always visit their main site by clicking on the graphic to the left |
Parent GuideThe parent guide presents each idea in the courses concisely, followed by examples. Each booklet also contains hundreds of additional practice problems (with answers).

Homework HelpTo help support students and parents, CPM provides a "Homework Help" site. The website provides a variety of complete solutions, hints and answers.
Some problems refer back to other similar problems. The homework help is designed to assist students to be able to complete the problems, but not do the problems for them. |
Online TextbookEach student will have access to an online version of the textbook. Your child will have a class specific webpage address, as well as a username and password. They will need these to be able to access the online textbook.
